Celebrating the Best of the Best

ULES DIGEST — ISSUE 9
It has surely been an interesting week in the University of Lagos, especially here in ULES, as the set of 2023 have officially been inducted as Engineers and graduates of the University of Lagos.
A journey of five years which turned seven years, it was a great sight to witness the endgame of hardwork, dedication and grit.
Amongst the many graduands, Clinton Mekwuonye and Olubunmi Peace were exceptional as they emerged as the Best Graduating Students of the Faculty, both finishing with a 4.90 CGPA.
It was a lovely sight to see and celebrate with the graduands, and also to be in anticipation for our turns to come.
INFO DESK
The last two weeks have been filled with food and a lot of planning. Thanks to the convocation week, we hardly had to buy food at all in the office (I know some of you can't relate)… and thanks to the Sports Secretary and Welfare Secretary, we have been holding meetings back to back to plan for the ULES Fitness programme and ULES Clean Up Day. I hope to see you participate in both events as they come up. Stay jiggy!
— Damilare Aribisala, Public Relations Officer, 25/26 Academic Session
FROM THE AGS' DESK
First of all, let's thank the graduands for a lecture-free week! Congrats to the '23 set, as we clap for them while we wait for our turn. Also, in the convocation spirit, how many packs of rice did you collect? Eat them and gain strength, because it's business as usual next week.
— Olamide Lawal, Assistant General Secretary, 25/26 Academic Session
