Engineering Into a New Year

ULES DIGEST — ISSUE 8
Esteemed citizens of the Faculty of First Choice in the University of Lagos, welcome to the New Year Edition of the ULES Digest — and we hope you digest many more this year.
BACK TO SCHOOL
The festivities are over and the serious work starts once again, with lectures, assignments and tests coming in thick and fast, and the adventures that come with being a UNILAG student. This year promises to be a lot better than last year, with events, opportunities and excellence in store for us. Take charge and take advantage!
INFO DESK
Happy New Year, ULESites. In the last four months of 2025 after we resumed office, our administration worked on various projects including toilet renovation and water availability, HSE Training, Freshers Orientation, Quadtopia, Mental Health Day, and several webinars amongst many others. In 2026, we hope to do more projects and can't wait to share them with you. Anticipate!
— Damilare Aribisala, Public Relations Officer, 25/26 Academic Session
FROM THE AGS' DESK
Oblee has finished o, back to reality. We are back in school and back in action, no safe zones for anyone to slack. This year is going to be an interesting one, and I will be here to take you through it all. But most importantly, start as you mean to go. You said you will lock in, but you haven't bought a padlock, hmmm.
— Olamide Lawal, Assistant General Secretary, 25/26 Academic Session
