From Nigeria at 65 to Resumption in 24: The ULES Roundup

ULES DIGEST — ISSUE 2
Hey ULESites! Welcome to another edition of the ULES Digest, here to give you the latest scoop on what's happening in ULES.
This week is a special one in Nigeria's history, celebrating 65 years of strength, unity and resilience. Now, as the week wraps up, let's bring that same energy home. (P.S. How many of us know Nigeria's anthem?)
MEMAN YOUTH CAREER READINESS CONFERENCE
On Thursday, 25th September, heavyweights of the Nigerian energy industry — MEMAN, TotalEnergies, NNPC and more — came through to prepare us for life beyond campus. Real talk on employability, interviews and skills, but one thing was clear: the future won't wait, neither should we.
COUNTDOWN TO RESUMPTION
October 27 is resumption day, and lectures will have no delay. You better not slack. Just 24 days left — use them wisely, and ask that guy or girl to put you on today.
INFO DESK
The new executive team has been deep in meetings, setting up structures and finalising chairpersons for all five ULES sub-bodies — a solid lineup ready to serve you in five different and unique environments. Volunteer teams are also shaping up; interviews wrap up soon.
— Damilare Aribisala, Public Relations Officer, 25/26 Academic Session
FROM THE AGS' DESK
