(Not) Peaceful Times in the Faculty of First Choice

ULES DIGEST — ISSUE 10
Countdown is ongoing, exams are getting closer — less than 20 days now, is it? But as the IDANs that we are, we are gearing up well to crush the papers and achieve academic victory.
Some departments just concluded their HOD games by the way (Systems, Civil and Surveying) with drama, banter and peak entertainment unfolding in preparation for USF '26.
Our ULES Female Football Team made us proud some weeks ago by defeating SOSSA Girls on penalties, with Debby (GK) saving two penalties during the shootout.
The ULES Cleanup programme, in partnership with Green Club UNILAG, happened last week, as we were reminded to keep the faculty clean at all times. ULES has also partnered with Web3 UNILAG, as Web3 is being brought closer to ULESites.
INFO DESK
In the last two weeks, we hosted Cleanup Engineering, a massive effort to restore our faculty spaces to the standard we deserve. We also had sessions of ULES Fitness, to help you improve your mind and body. And in case you missed it, we now have fully functional male and female toilets in the faculty.
— Damilare Aribisala, Public Relations Officer, 25/26 Academic Session
FROM THE AGS' DESK
Hello to my fellow single people, the rest should collect greetings from their babe/boo. In this season of love, I hope you are also falling in love with your books and your exam timetable, because the moment of truth is near. Party time is over, it's time to lock in, and I hope to see you on the other side, victorious.
— Olamide Lawal, Assistant General Secretary, 25/26 Academic Session
